I think we Nepalese are pretty serious about the music because we not only listen to the music but also follow the culture behind it. The addiction of music is so inherited and deep rooted that it has been running deep inside our veins as a passion, as a pleasure and definitely an integral part of our lives, Maybe that is the only reason why I have been using music as a medium to express my feelings, no matter what type of emotions I may hold.

The story started after flunking my class 12 exam. I had a plenty of leisure time, it was so unlimited that my mind used to be idle all the times and I was lost within myself as the result. Since then music has been a savior and an invincible weapon to defeat the depressions and the loneliness, no matter where I am and no matter what the circumstances, It has always been there with me as a friend and as an inspiration. I've been with Nepali music industry since 2002 and yes, I have noticed many ups and downs, rise and falls and even births and deaths. I know the music industry of Nepal is not so big and definitely you cannot depend upon the industry for your basic needs (gaas, baas and kapas) but still I know there are few things which are priceless and for me, it's always been the music.

During my 3 years in India, I've always learnt that When you are away from home, things will never work as expected, Clock never ticks on time and you are always either broke or busy or both. Well, I agree human desires, passions, dreams, wishes are capable of creating infinite issues but these are the reasons to live for, so can't help it. Whatever man, I wish I was in Nepal so I could make some music/videos, be on the stage, Jam with my friends and so on..

Well, let me put on this way, since I am pursuing my media studies, I definitely get time for videos. But one man army...it is not going to work. If I am making a video it's going to be me, myself and me, because I cannot afford a studio charge, hire some gals/guys to handle the camera, light, etc. Computers have made it easy but still it's tough for one to come out of the quality video and the outcome.... no video!!! Music video plays a vital role in the industry, "we all know that" and yes, that is the issue for all of us (neprocks society). I know we are the best in the business though we can't make it to the chart, why?? because we don't exist on TV i.e. we may be in the business but not with the business or maybe we are with the business and not in the business (either way, we are little out casted). Media doesn't recognize us as a part of the industry and/or we do not pay some respect to get in return, whatever the reason is, it's been a tough task to balance this media equation.

Another important thing for me would be, being on the stage. And I believe stage is where we (artist)originally belong to, stage is the place where you feel like you are at the top of the world and it is the place where you get love, support, inspiration, motivation, recognition and of course hatred. I still remember my first concert. I swear to god it was something like my first sex, little nervous, little excited, little scared anyways made it right. Oh boy, it was priceless. And I appeal our singers please pay some respect to the stage and do not kindly vanish behind the stage when the opportunity is provided to perform abroad.

Well,Time for an end, and yes! All I am trying to say is that I am not in Nepal, so music is one of those things which keeps me alive. I might not be able to share my music to it's extend or broadcast it via TV/Radio though I live with music and yes! I will definitely release few music/videos once I get back to my Nepal.
