"Guess Who, Yeah, Nurbu is Back", This is a line from one of the tracks ("K.T.M.C – Part II - Remix") from Nurbu Sherpa's most anticipated  Album "SAVE NEPAL”. And, Indeed the prominent and uplifting hip-hop artist is back again with his 2nd  album  .Nurbu sherpa is from the one and only Kathmandu City (K.T.M.C.) and is currently residing in New York. He has turned home into the hip-hop world with his hard hitting 2nd album with a greater twist that spreads words of inspiration and which simultaneously makes everyone stand on their feet with a temptation to dance.

A graduate of the University of Texas with a Management degree,Nurbu, is currently working in a fashion industry as Fashion Analyst.And he certainly does not entirely fit the criteria of the hip-hop world. However for him, it started as passion and eventually turned into actions. He composed his first song when he was in his middle school and this number totally  reveals a lot about his passion for music those days.  His first album "Nurbu Sherpa representing K.T.M.C" was released in 2003 by Taal Music, for which he initiated his work in year 2000. As a result of  his great and deep dedication of three years in his first album , Nurbu Sherpa was nominated for Best Music Video Award for his "Capital 'N' music video in 2004.

And now  once again  this hardrocking artist is back with his subsequent album "SAVE NEPAL” expected to release by the end of 2007. He has just finished his music video of the title track "SAVE NEPAL" from the  2nd album. In this track (Save Nepal) he talks about the current situation of Nepal,its internal conflict and its aftermath. His portrayal to this particular song  is not to  blame anyone but to let the people understand what our focus should be rather than engaging in the dilemma of terror and peace.

He is currently working on his second music video, which is called  "Baby Gurl". It is a fun track with a hot beat and it's sure to be a club banger.

He has been performing in and around New York City and the tracks are already hit in New York even though the album hasn't come out yet. People of all age groups have responded very well to his music.
